Hibernate With Me aims to remind children that when they are feeling lonely or afraid, love will always provide them with a safe place to hibernate.

Hibernate With Me was recently featured on The Today Show by Hoda Kotb, who calls it a “beautiful children’s book”; watch the full segment HERE.

Of the song, Scheuer explains it was written for his wife, “when she was going through the difficult process of emigrating to New York from her native UK. I wanted to give her a hug in songform.” Williams explains that, “sometimes as a child (and as an adult) it can be hard to understand that emotions like sadness or worry are temporary and nothing to be ashamed of.” She continues, “for Hibernate with Me, I wanted to create something as cozy and comforting as the books my parents read to me as a child.”

Benjamin Scheuer is a Drama Desk Award winning artist and playwright, most recently known for his critically-acclaimed solo show THE LION, which saw over 500 performances in 13-cities across the U.S. Scheuer’s debut album, Songs from THE LION, debuted in the “Top 10 of the Billboard Cast Albums” chart in 2016.
