“His passion comes out in his music, a very unique twist on EDM. He combines EDM with house party music, something everyone can listen to and enjoy.” –Huffpost

Breakout producer CID is nominated for “Best Remix Recording” for his remix of LSD’s (Labrinth, Sia & Diplo) song “Audio” at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Of the nomination CID says, “A few years ago I was nominated and won in this same category for my work on the Lana Del Rey remix. Even though I was in the background on that one, it gave me the confidence to know I was good enough as a producer and remixer. That experience set me on the path to focus on myself as an artist, with the hopes of one day being able to get back to the Grammys. Feels surreal to have my name up there this time.” The remix has over 15 million streams on Spotify and is tracking 2 million plays a month. Listen HERE.

Early next year, CID will launch his own radio show on the SiriusXM channel “Diplo’s Revolution.” More details to come soon.

CID is NYC-based artist Carlos Cid who previously won a Grammy as a producer on Cedric Gervais’ remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness.” His passion for music began at age 11 where he would venture through the boroughs of New York spending his days scouring through new music at his favorite record store. It wasn’t long before some of New York’s finest DJ’s became increasingly curious about this enthusiastic young kid who was seamlessly browsing the same records that they’d been spinning at clubs the night before.

CID’s love for DJing became the catalyst for his natural progression into the world of music production. It soon became evident that he was not only a talented DJ but also a prolific engineer and producer. He’s since collaborated with the likes of Kaskade, Galantis, Tiësto, Don Diablo, Big Beat, Spinnin’ Records, Hexagon, Size Records and many more, while playing worldwide gigs spanning from Las Vegas, NV to Barcelona, Spain. CID is set to take his ambition to the next level with an arsenal of new material on the horizon.
