Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Mariah McManus embarks on a Hotel Café residency beginning May 31 in support of her debut album Nice To Meet You, “...a debut that reveals considerable promise” (Knoxville News Sentinel). The residency will run through the month of June. Tour dates below.

Featuring 10 original compositions, including “Shame On You,” co-written with Joy Williams of The Civil Wars and recently featured in Grey’s Anatomy; “Unarmed,” featured in the 2010 season finale of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy; and “Say It Again,” also recently highlighted on Hart of Dixie. Produced by Thomas Doeve and Mariah’s brother Aaron McManus, Nice To Meet You was recorded over five days at Paper Swan Studios in Nashville. The video for “Say It Again,” was directed by her father and shot in Malibu Family Wines and features beautiful, picturesque landscapes. ‘My dad and I put together the video concept,” Mariah says, “we really wanted to bring the ‘daydream’ that I sing about in the song to life.” (view/share/embed): http://youtu.be/a0kBv4h2OcY.

Since the release of her debut, the 20-year-old has had her video premiered on ELLEgirl, been featured on NPR’s “World Cafe,” reviewed in The New York Times, and received praised from Billboard, AOL Spinner and Teen.com.
