SEATTLE THEATRE GROUP AND SASQUATCH! FESTIVAL FOUNDER ADAM ZACKS PRESENT THING POSTPONED UNTIL AUGUST 27-29, 2021

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) and Adam Zacks—STG’s Chief Programming Officer and founder of the acclaimed Sasquatch! Festival—have made the difficult decision to postpone THING, their new multidisciplinary event located at Fort Worden in scenic Port Townsend, WA. Following a sold-out inaugural year in 2019, THING is slated to return August 27-29, 2021.

ABOUT SEATTLE THEATRE GROUP (STG)
Seattle Theatre Group is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization whose mission is to create enriching experiences in the arts, engage diverse communities, and steward historic theatres. STG presents a range of performances from Broadway, off-Broadway, dance and jazz, to comedy, concerts of all genres, speakers and family shows at its three iconic theatres (The Paramount, Moore, and Neptune Theatre) in Seattle and venues throughout the Puget Sound region and in Portland, Oregon. In response to the CDC’s recommendation to suspend large social gatherings, STG has had to postpone more than 150 performances and continues to place its programs and performances on hold as the situation progresses. STG is currently holding a virtual fundraising event focused on a challenge match and online auction, giving the public the opportunity to donate directly through STG’s website or via an online auction that will take place April 24-May 2. Thanks to STG’s Board of Directors and The Bradley Family Foundation, every donation made through May 2 will be matched 1:1, up to $380,000 total.
