k.d. lang's TOUR IN SUPPORT OF WATERSHED CONTINUES THROUGH MARCH

k.d. lang’s critically acclaimed Watershed debuted in Billboard’s top ten last month. The album marks the first time lang has assumed the role of producer—as well as writer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist—and is the first record of newly written material for the four-time GRAMMY® winner since 2000’s Invincible Summer. A seventeen-city U.S. tour is currently underway; please see reverse for dates.

Here’s what the critics are saying about Watershed:

“Possessed of one of the world’s most beautiful and steady pop voices, she flexes her instrument like a sleepy cat stretching on a carpet.”—The New York Times

“…the album succeeds in much the same way as Ingenue did, letting lang shine a light out from her frozen torch songs.”—The New Yorker

“With a voice that is decadently rich and lush, lang delivers both torch and twang on her first album of original material since 2000.”—People

“…a gorgeous collection of spare, intimate ballads, delivered with her usual poise and understated passion.”—USA Today

lang is joined on tour by a brand new band, consisting of guitarist Grecco Buratto (Pink), guitarist Joshua Grange (Dwight Yoakam), keyboardist Daniel Clarke (Rachael Yamagata) and bassist Ian Walker (Joe Henry). Longtime drummer Danny Frankel also joins lang on the road. He along with lang’s frequent collaborators (including pianist Teddy Borowiecki, bassist David Piltch, steel player Greg Leisz and guitarist Ben Mink) reunited with lang for the recording of the album.
