“Zimmer is sharing with us a true work of art.” –Run The Trap

“Fusing a hypnotic blend of House, Disco and New Wave, Zimmer’s music is all about sensations; feel-good sensations that will last from start to finish.” –Amadeus

“The use of tribal-like sounds with nature elements will intrigue anyone who listens to music.” –EDM Tunes

“This debut album certainly holds an ethereal but epic space. Vastness, energy, transcendence—all play into Zimmer’s unique, and moving sound." –Honey Punch

The album was recorded across two years in Zimmer’s Paris studio and during extended stays in Los Angeles and New York. The producer took his time to experiment and deliver a record that’s both personal and genuine. Entirely self-produced, the album features two vocalists—Panama and New Zealand’s Laumė.

Of the album, Zimmer says, “The debut is a culmination of massive soundscapes, memorable melodies and driving grooves, while exploring genres that move me—euphoric disco, warehouse techno, moody ballads, all with a sense of emotion and melancholy.”

For almost a decade, Baptiste Mours has been performing under the moniker Zimmer. Growing up between the French Alps and California, he moved to Paris in 2010 and started experimenting with electronic music, releasing a first EP in 2011. In just a few years, his sound attracted international attention through carefully crafted remixes and his mixtape series.

At just 25 years old, Zimmer has toured the world as a DJ playing across Europe, North America and Asia. Having already played over 350 shows in his career, Zimmer’s music takes another dimensions when experienced live. This past year, Zimmer performed live for the first time in the U.S. selling out shows in New York and San Francisco.
