SINGER-SONGWRITER BLESSING JOLIE’S “[“20teens”] anthemic mix of indie riffs, light pop-punk bounce and soulful energy is already a heady combination, but throw in the 23-year-old's velvety vocals, and you've got a formidable force on your hands.”—NME TRACKLIST

March 13, 2026—Rising Katy, Texas singer-songwriter Blessing Jolie today unveils her highly anticipated debut album, 20nothing, out now via Thirty Tigers/RCA—listen/share HERE.
Raised as the youngest of five in a Nigerian American household, Blessing began sharing guitar and singing videos online while attending college for computer science. After being discovered at 19, Blessing pursued music full time; 20nothing offers an unfiltered glimpse into the highs and lows of this coming of age, capturing an empowering look into cutting your teeth in a digital world. Themes of heartbreak, self-discovery and moving away from old versions of yourself all appear through her sharp, punchy songwriting. Blessing pairs her signature, impressive voice with a sonically fresh approach to genre-blending arrangements that display her distinct influences, ranging from Destiny’s Child to Limp Bizkit.
“Regular Shmegular Girl,” a standout track from the record, displays this adventurousness, nu metal blending with her R&B and Pop tendencies. On the inspiration behind the refreshing and charged cut, Blessing shares, “A guy handed me his number at a gas station-no hello, no name, nothing. And I just thought, 'Who do you think you are? But even louder,' 'Who do you think I am?'"
“20nothing is about growth - I think those early twenties growing pains stick a little more,” Blessing continues, “I’ve been blessed enough to experience more things, whether they’ve brought joy or hurt. They only provide more context and more wisdom. Through heartbreak and confusion, I always come back with, ‘I needed that to gain this.’”
Her debut comes amidst a meteoric rise for the artist, who was just named to the NME 100 list, highlighting the most essential emerging artists to watch for the year. The critically acclaimed singles from the project, “Software Developer,” “20teens,” and “Frown Lines” have drawn support from Tyler, The Creator, Kehlani, Cara Delevingne, and more, and lead Alemeda to invite Blessing to open for on her Atlanta tour date.
